This is the idea that makes the Gene Keys different from every system that sorts people into good traits and bad ones. The Shadow is not a separate thing from the Gift. It is the Gift under compression — the same current, squeezed by fear until it comes out distorted.
Which means nothing has to be removed from you. The material is already correct. What changes is the pressure it is being held under, and pressure changes through awareness rather than effort.
How the frequencies actually shift
Not by trying to be the Gift. The Gene Keys are explicit about this: you shift by staying present to the Shadow long enough to stop being run by it. Naming it while you are inside it, without flinching and without a fix, is the entire practice.
The Gift arrives as a by-product. It is what the energy does naturally once it is no longer defending itself.
What the Siddhi is for
The Siddhi is the highest frequency of a key — the theme fully dissolved, with no separate self left running it. It is not a target and it cannot be practiced toward.
It is there for a different reason: to show you the direction the Gift is already pointing, and to keep the Gift from being mistaken for the destination.
