The Referral Agreement

You brought someone home.
Here is exactly what that earns.

Serafina pays you for the people you bring. Not a token. Not points. Thirty percent of what they pay, every month, for a year. This page tells you how that works in plain terms — what you earn, when it reaches you, and the handful of things that take it back. No part of it is buried.

The short of it

  • 30% of what your person pays, for their first twelve months.
  • A commission waits 30 days before it can be paid. Payouts then run on the 1st of each month.
  • Payouts need $10 or more waiting. Under that, it rolls to next month. Nothing is lost.
  • If they get a refund or reverse the charge, the commission goes back with it.
  • You cannot refer yourself. The system blocks it.
  • If you tell people about Serafina, say that you earn from it. That one is not optional.

What you earn

Thirty percent, for a full year.

When someone joins Serafina through your link and pays, you earn 30% of that payment. Not once — every time they pay, for twelve months from the day they were referred.

The twelve months are counted from the referral, not from your first commission. If they join in March and are still with Serafina the following March, that last month is outside the window and does not earn.

You earn on what they actually pay. If they are on a discount, a comp, or a free trial, 30% of nothing is nothing — the commission begins when their money does.

How someone becomes yours

The last link they clicked wins.

Your link carries your code. When someone opens it, we remember that on their device for 60 days. If they sign up in that window, they are credited to you.

If they click someone else’s link after yours, the credit moves. Last touch wins. This is the ordinary rule for referral programs, and we would rather state it than let you discover it.

Credit is fixed at signup. Once someone is attributed to you, they stay yours for the twelve months — a later link cannot take an existing member away.

Some things are outside our reach. If they clear their browser, switch to a different device, or open your link inside an app that strips it, the trail can break. We do not have a way to recover a referral that was never recorded.

When the money reaches you

Thirty days to settle. Then the 1st.

Every commission waits 30 days before it can be paid. That hold exists because a payment can still be refunded or reversed in that time, and paying you money that is about to vanish helps neither of us.

Payouts run once a month, on the 1st. Everything that has finished its 30-day wait by then goes out together.

So the honest answer to “when do I get paid” is somewhere between 30 and 60 days, depending on where in the month the payment landed. A commission earned on the 2nd waits nearly two months. One earned on the 30th waits about one.

A payout needs at least $10 waiting. Below that it stays put and rolls into the next month. Nothing expires and nothing is forfeited— small amounts simply gather until they are worth sending.

You need a payout account before anything can reach you. We pay through Stripe, which will ask you to confirm your identity and where to send the money. Until that is finished, commissions accrue but sit unpaid. Stripe holds those details, not us.

What takes it back

If the payment reverses, so does the commission.

Refunds. If your person is refunded, the commission on that payment is reversed. The money went back to them, so it cannot also stay with you.

Chargebacks. If they dispute a charge with their bank and the money is pulled back, the commission is reversed the same way. A dispute can arrive months later — long after the commission has been paid. If that happens, the amount is netted off a future payout.

If we later win that dispute, tell us. A won dispute does not restore your commission automatically — it is rare enough that we handle it by hand rather than trust an untested path with your money. Write to us and we will put it back.

Referring yourself does not work. A referral earns nothing when the new member is your own account, or signs up on the same email address as yours. The system checks both and refuses the credit.

We also reverse commissions, and may close a referral account, for referrals obtained through deception — fake accounts, purchased traffic, spam, or claiming to be Serafina or AUREA.

Telling the truth about it

Say that you earn. Every time.

When you recommend Serafina, you must say that you earn from it. This is US Federal Trade Commission rules, not a house preference, and it applies to posts, stories, emails, videos, and podcasts — anywhere you point people at your link.

It does not have to be heavy. “I earn a commission if you join through my link” is enough. Put it where it will actually be read — near the link, not buried at the bottom or hidden behind a “more” tag.

Do not promise outcomes on our behalf. You can tell your own story completely and honestly. You cannot promise someone a specific result, an income, or a healing. Speak from what happened to you.

Do not bid on AUREA or Serafina brand names in paid search, and do not present yourself as an official representative. You are a member who shares. That is the whole strength of it.

Taxes

This is income. Treat it as income.

What you earn here is income, and it does not have tax withheld. You are responsible for reporting it.

If we pay you $600 or more in a calendar year, US tax rules require a 1099 form. To issue one we need your tax details, which Stripe collects when you set up your payout account. If those details are missing, we may have to hold your payout until they are provided.

You are an independent participant in a referral program — not an employee, contractor, partner, or agent of AUREA. Nothing here creates a job or an ongoing entitlement.

We are not able to give you tax advice. If the amounts matter to you, ask someone who does this for a living.

The plain caveats

What the lawyers make us say.

We have no intention of changing any of this. We built the program to be worth staying in, and the terms above are the ones we want to keep. But we are obliged to tell you what could happen, so here it is — in the same plain words as everything else on this page, rather than buried in language designed not to be read.

We can change these terms. If we change anything that affects what you earn or when you are paid, we will email you before it takes effect. Commissions already earned are honored under the terms that were in force when they were earned.

We can end the program. If we do, we will say so in advance and pay out everything already earned.

We can close an individual referral account for the deceptive conduct named above, or if you are no longer a Serafina member. Commissions earned honestly before that point are still paid.

No income is promised. Nothing here is a projection or a guarantee. What you earn depends entirely on who joins through you and stays.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which AUREA, LLC is organized.
